The pan includes a provision for the factory dipstick, and the dipstick will still function the same as with the stock pan. If you are NOT going to run a temp probe, be sure to order a plug for that hole! The pan comes with TWO drain plug holes - one is for the factory drain plug, and the other is a 1/2" NPT hole for fitting an aftermarket oil temp probe.
